In the field, Troopers wear high visibility shoulder pauldrons to designate rank - perhaps that's why we get shot so quickly - they're HIGH VIZ. We need LOW PROFILE STUFF, man!

The inventive props crew of ANH used these as pauldrons - sources tell me these were motocross pads of sorts in the Seventies.

Officers wore the Orange on Black as seen at left.

Enlisted wore the White on Black as seen in center.

I wear the Black on Orange - It was supposed to be Orange on Black but the manufacturer goofed. I've decided to wear it as it is simply different from the rest. The Fighting 501st patch is my tribute to our Brethren.
